What does the MDS 3000 offer?
The MDS 3000 features a tablet as a wireless display unit – connected via Wi-Fi integrated in the main unit. Simply switch on the device and the tablet connects automatically, providing a clear, intuitive touchscreen user interface for all measurements and camera images.

Equipped with parallel and cross-polarized light:
- Parallel-polarized light visualizes the skin’s surface structure
- Cross-polarized light reveals deeper skin layers such as pigmentation and vascular structures
Illumination modes can be changed instantly at the push of the camera button. Based on the captured images, the software performs an easy and objective image analysis of wrinkles, pores and spots. Take your clients on a visual journey across face and body.
The camera is also ideal for monitoring hair and scalp conditions such as hair damage, dandruff or scalp irritation.
- Quantitative Analysis with Special Tapes
The Sebufix® and Corneofix® tapes, supplied in practical dispenser systems, are used in combination with the Visioscope® camera to provide clear, visual results of sebum production and skin scaliness that are easy to explain to clients.
Sebufix® F 16 displays sebum production in real time
Corneofix® F 20 enables detailed analysis of desquamation and dryness.
- Optionally available to suit your specific applications: TEWL measurement for assessing the quality of the skin barrier, pH measurement (skin's acidic mantle), and the special UV camera Visiopor®, which makes porphyrin fluorescence impressively visible. Simply connect them and they are automatically detected and integrated in the MDS 3000 application.
